Dr. Farah B. Williams, M.D. is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. She received her B.S. degree from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas in June 1984 and her M.D. degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC in 1990. Dr. Williams, M.D. was awarded the Richman, MD award in May 1990 at Howard University College of Medicine for her outstanding performance in Psychiatry as a fourth year medical student. Upon graduating from Howard University College of Medicine, Dr. Williams, M.D. completed her transitional medicine internship at Howard University Hospital. After internship, she completed her rotating residency in diagnostic radiology also at Howard University Hospital in June 1995. During her residency in June 1995, Dr. Williams, M.D. was awarded the Charles R. Kelly award for outstanding performance in Radiology as a fourth year resident. Following her residency Dr. Williams, M.D. completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging (MRI, CT, US) at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The fellowship curriculum also included dedicated training in Breast Imaging. Dr. Williams, M.D. served as an Associate Professor of Radiology at Morehouse School of Medicine from 1998 to 2000. She was an active medical advisor for the Ultrasound Diagnostic School (UDS) in Atlanta, GA from 1999 to 2000. Dr. Williams, M.D. is a member in multiple professional societies including the American Association of Women Radiologists, American Medical Association, National Medical Association, ACR and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
